POKEMON CHAMPIONS RANKED

The Pokémon franchise has given us some of the most memorable battles against top trainers known as “Champions.” Each Champion brings their unique style and team to the table, making every encounter a thrilling experience.

Here’s a ranking of the mainline Pokemon Champions based on their strength and challenge they present:

Under the Line Tier:

Trace: The Let’s Go Champion

First Appearance: Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!

Trace, a good-natured rival in the Let’s Go games, ascends to become the Champion.

His team and battles do not reach the complexity and difficulty level of other Champions. His friendly demeanor and supportive nature make him a beloved character, but his team is not as formidable as those of higher-tier Champions, making him less challenging to defeat.

Geeta: The Top Champion of Paldea

First Appearance: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Geeta, with a caring, wise personality and calm, pragmatic demeanor, is the chairwoman of the Paldean League. She holds nothing back in battles.

Geeta is placed in the Under the Line tier primarily due to the overall challenge she presents in battles. While her team is diverse, it lacks the strategic depth and power of higher-tier Champions. Despite her role as the chairwoman of the Paldean League, her team can be relatively easily countered by players.

Normal Tier:

First Appearance: Pokémon X and Y

Diantha, the world-famous movie star and elegant battler, takes the stage with her dazzling style. Her beauty and strength make her a captivating Champion.
