1.FALKNER

The Elegant Master of Flying PokémonFalkner is the Leader of the Gym located in Violet City, is a breathtaking testament to the beauty and grace of flying-type Pokémon.

The first Gym Leader you encounter in Johto, is a master of flying-type Pokémon. With his calm demeanor and unwavering focus, he presents a formidable challenge to aspiring trainers.

Falkner’s dedication to his Gym extends beyond battles, as he takes pride in maintaining a harmonious environment for his Pokémon and visitors alike.

In the Pokémon Anime, Falkner is portrayed as a skilled and dedicated Gym Leader of Violet City he demonstrates his strategic prowess and deep bond with his Pokémon. The battle with Ash is intense, showcasing the unique abilities and maneuvers of flying-type Pokémon.

His team Includes~ PIDGEOT, NOCTOWL, HONCHKROW, XATU , SWELLOW, CROBAT AERODACTYL, FERAOW, DODRIO, STARAPTOR, PIDGEY, PELIPPER and even LUGIA in Pokemon Black 2 White 2 world tournamnet.

3.WHITNEY (☠️)

“The Incredibly Pretty Girl” that rollout trainer’s dream with her Miltank( the devil herself) Whitney is the Normal Type Gym Leader of Goldenrod City, brings her own brand of challenge to Johto’s trainers.

Known for her sweet demeanor and love for cute Pokémon, Whitney may initially deceive opponents with her seemingly innocent appearance. However, her battle skills and the strength of her Normal-type team should not be underestimated at all!!

Whitney’s ace Pokémon is the notorious devil Miltank, a powerhouse with impressive defensive capabilities and a devastating arsenal of moves. Its signature move, Rollout, can quickly turn the tide of a battle.

In the anime, Whitney is portrayed as a determined and resilient Gym Leader.Her encounters with Ash and his friends highlight the importance of perseverance and staying true to oneself.

Her devilish team includes~ MILTANK😈, CLEFAIRY, DELCATTY, CLEFABLE, BIBAREL, GIRAFARIG, LICKILICKY, TAUROS, AMBIPOM, URSARING , WIGGLYTUFF, BLISSEY, LOPUNNY, WATCHOG, NIDORINA and a CINCCINO.

4. MORTY

The Mystic Seer of the Future” Morty is the Ghost-type Gym Leader of Ecruteak City and adds an aura of mystery and intrigue to Johto’s Gym challenges.

6.JASMINE

Pryce’s backstory involves him losing his beloved Piloswine during a snowstorm many years ago. This event deeply affected him, and he dedicated his life to training Ice-type Pokémon in the hopes of finding his lost partner. 8.CLAIR

Her unstoppable team of Majestic Dragons include~ KINGDRA, DRAGONAIR, DRAGONITE, SALAMANCE, GYARADOS, AERODACTYL, CHARIZARD, ALTARIA, GARCHOMP and a DRUDDIGON.

The Rising Badge is a symbol of triumph and signifies the strength and skill of the trainer who has overcome Clair’s formidable team of Dragon-type Pokémon

♡ Each of the Johto Gym Leaders except Bugsy has a type advantage against the next Gym Leader.

Falkner’s Flying-type is strong against Bugsy’s Bug-type.

Bugsy is the exception as Bug-type is neutral against Normal-type.

Whitney’s Normal-type is immune to Morty’s Ghost-type.

Morty’s Ghost-type is immune to Chuck’s Fighting-type.

Chuck’s Fighting-type is strong against Jasmine’s Steel-type.

Jasmine’s Steel-type is strong against Pryce’s Ice-type.

Pryce’s Ice-type is strong against Clair’s Dragon-type.

 

None of Johto’s Gym Leaders specializes in the same type as a Kanto Gym Leader.

The Kanto leaders were specialised in~

Lt. Surge – Electric

Sabrina – Psychic

Koga/ Janine – Poison

Blaine – Fire

Giovanni – Ground

Whereas the Johto Leaders are specialised in~

Morty – Ghost

Chuck – Fighting

Jasmine – Steel

Pryce – Ice
